A letter to Artemius

This is a letter to Artemius
A letter from your beloved Helius
Here are words of love, sorrow and hurt
Words against and for a world so treacherous

Love is a gift of God they say
A feeling of trust is love they say
A gift from God is there for all
But yet they say, it’s not for the two of us

Oh, they take lust for love
But yet, they take our love for lust
My love Artemius, they wept for Romeo Juliet
But why, oh why, don’t they weep for us?

A love so pure we hold together
We speak, we talk, we live for each other
Even if this world separates our hands
It can never separate our souls, dear Artemius

For us, our life is but love
Nothing but sorrow the world has brought
It is God himself who entwined our souls
And the truth remains, even death can’t do us part

This is a letter to dear Artemius
A letter to lovers just like us
This is a story of a he and a he
A letter; a beautiful and precious story
